- This new Facebook app has been launched under the name BARS.
- On the app, users will be able to create videos of up to 60 seconds duration and can also save them in their camera roll.
Facebook has launched a new app this time to give a tough competition to Chinese short-video making platform TikTok, which will help create and share rap songs. The app, named BARS (Bars), is available on the Apple App Store in the United States. With this, users will be able to create and share rap easily. With the help of bars, rappers will be able to experiment with it by focusing on their content without having to invest heavily on all equipment and production.
Will be able to select beat or tune
Facebook said in a statement, audio production tools are quite complex and expensive and they are also not easy to use. With Bars you will be able to select any of our professionally prepared beats or melodies, write lyrics and record it yourself. The company further said that while writing the lyrics of a song, its flow should be maintained properly, for this, bars will automatically suggest rhymes.
If the users want, then by going in the challenge mode, they can also suggest any words in the rows of words themselves. There will be a variety of audio in the bars, from which one can be selected. In this, visual filters can also be used to take your composition to the next level.
The new Product Experimentation (NPE) team in Facebook’s internal R&D group is behind this new experimental app. Bars is the second launch of the NPE team in the field of music. Prior to this, music video app Collab has been launched by them last year.
Will be able to make videos up to 60 seconds
On the app, users will be able to create videos of up to 60 seconds duration and can also save them in their camera roll. With the help of the app, users will also get the option to share their videos on social media platforms. The aim of the app is to give rappers a place where they will be able to continue experiments, which they could not do due to the epidemic.
