Buoyancy: Gold prices rose by Rs 337 to Rs 46,372 per 10 grams; Silver prices rise by Rs 1149

If you are

going to buy gold, then you have to be a little disappointed. Today, gold prices are increasing in the bullion market. Gold prices have risen by Rs 337 to Rs 46,372 per 10 grams. Earlier on Monday, gold had closed at Rs 46,035 per 10 grams.

Here, silver prices are also seen increasing. Today, silver has risen by Rs 1,149 to reach 69,667 per kg. Earlier on Monday, it had closed at Rs 68,518 per kg.

Senior analyst at HDFC Securities, Tapan Patel, said, “24-carat gold prices rose by Rs 337 in Delhi. In the international market, gold was trading at $ 1,808 an ounce, while silver was at $ 28.08 an ounce.”

Future gold and silver prices

  • Gold delivered in April at the Multi Commodity Exchange fell by Rs 56, or 0.12 per cent, to Rs 46,845 per 10 grams, with a business turnover of 12,987 lots. However, gold was trading up 0.10% at $ 1,810.20 an ounce in New York.
  • Silver for the March delivery on the Multi Commodity Exchange fell by Rs 12, or 0.02 per cent, to Rs 70,420 per kg, with a turnover of 11,998 lots. However, silver was trading up 0.07% at $ 28.15 an ounce in New York.
